LUGANSK, June 28 The Supreme Court of the LPR found 68-year-old Ukrainian citizen Liliya Khrustovskaya guilty of espionage and sentenced her to 12 years and 6 months in prison, said the republic's senior assistant prosecutor Elena Usacheva.
Earlier, the FSB Directorate of Russia for the LPR opened a criminal case against her.
«The Supreme Court of the Luhansk People's Republic has issued a verdict in the criminal case against 68-year-old Ukrainian citizen Liliya Khrustovskaya. She was found guilty under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (espionage),» Usacheva said.
The court found that since 2022, the defendant had been collecting information about the movements and locations of Russian military personnel, and she transmitted the data she obtained to Ukrainian special services via instant messengers.
«The court agreed with the position of the state prosecutor — the prosecutor of the Luhansk People's Republic and sentenced Khrustovskaya to 12 years and 6 months of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony,» Usacheva said.
