ST. PETERSBURG, June 27 Nine people injured in the train derailment in Komi are in hospitals, including a 14-year-old girl, said the head of the republic, Vladimir Uyba.
«Nine victims remain hospitalized, including a 14-year-old girl,» he said in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
The head of Komi recalled that the girl was delivered by air ambulance to Syktyvkar and hospitalized in the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital.
Uyba noted that two victims were also taken to the Komi Republican Clinical Hospital, and two more were transferred to the Vorkuta Emergency Hospital. Three people currently remain in the Inta City Hospital. They are in satisfactory condition. One patient was hospitalized in the Pechora Central Regional Hospital, she is also in satisfactory condition.
«All victims are receiving the necessary medical care in full,» the head of Komi said.
On Wednesday, nine cars of passenger train No. 511 Vorkuta — Novorossiysk derailed on the stretch in Komi. It was reported that there were 195 passengers and 20 railway workers on the train. According to the latest data, 3 people were killed and 10 were injured.
