The festival events will be held in five cities – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi and Krasnoyarsk.
The Tank brand (owned by Great Wall Motor) is launching a summer gastronomic festival in Russia, which is called Tank Gourmet. A series of events will be held from July 3 to August 23 in five cities of the country – from the Baltic coast to Siberia and the South. Residents and guests of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi and Krasnoyarsk can visit the restaurant festival.
Tank Gourmet brings together chefs from five restaurants in these cities, their goal is to create a series of unusual combinations and ideas in the format of Tank's signature set menu. It is reported that all restaurant guests can order it, and privileges are provided for owners of cars of the Chinese brand and members of the Tank community.
The Tank Gourmet festival will start in Moscow at the Luwo restaurant (chef – Artyom Chudnenko) on July 3, the events will last until August 3. The menu will give an idea of the ancient Luwian civilization or “people of the sea”, who united the traditions of Ancient Greece, East and West.
In St. Petersburg, from July 9 to August 4, the Koi restaurant will welcome guests (chef – Evgeniy Korsun). Here the menu will include a variety of seafood from different parts of the world, as well as Japanese, Chinese, Singaporean and other “accents in the style of Pan-Asian eclecticism.”
In the Kazan restaurant Lulua (chef – Artyom Laptev) events will take place from July 15 to August 15. Here the concept will be based on the gastronomic culture of Lebanon, Morocco, Israel and Turkey.
In Sochi, festival guests will be greeted by the Baran-Rapan restaurant (chef – Andrey Gryazev); you can explore the special menu from July 18 to August 18. It will be based on the cuisine of the Black Sea, while all dishes are created in accordance with modern trends.
Krasnoyarsk restaurant N’kei (brand chef – Alexey Kushchenko, chef – Nikita Khlynovsky, concept chef – Nicanor Vieira) will welcome Tank Gourmet guests from July 23 to August 23. A special feature of this concept is the use of the traditions of Japanese settlers in Peru together with the basics of Siberian cuisine.
The headliner of the restaurant festival is the Tank 500 frame SUV, which entered the Russian market last spring. Let us remind you that in addition to just the “five hundredth” version, Urban and Blacktrail versions are also offered in the Russian Federation, while the price of the top-end “black” version was announced at the local office recently, in the second half of last month.
