KALININGRAD, July 2 The chairman of the investigative committee ordered an investigation into the beating of a child by a karate trainer in the Kaliningrad region, the press service of the regional investigative committee reports on Telegram- channel.
“It is reported on social media that a karate coach hit a 12-year-old boy several times with a stick. The head of the department instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kaliningrad Region… to organize an inspection and submit a report,” the message says.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Kaliningrad Region, at the request of the department, a criminal case was opened under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of minor harm to health).
“It has been previously established that on May 23, 2024, in Kaliningrad, during karate training at a sports club, the coach hit a 12-year-old boy several times with a plastic pipe. As a result of this, the minor suffered injuries that resulted in minor harm to health.” , – the message says.
