The leading regions in terms of opening deposits have been named

In the first half of 2024, more than 110 thousand clients opened deposits, said Alexey Kosyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of DOM.RF Bank. This is almost 3 times more than for the same period last year.

Most often, deposits were opened in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar and Penza. The top 10 also included Ufa, Rostov-on-Don, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg and Togliatti.

The largest growth in the deposit portfolio compared to the first half of last year was recorded in Vladivostok (5 times), Krasnoyarsk (4.5 times), Kazan (4.2 times), Novosibirsk (4 times), Voronezh (3.7 times).

“We attribute this dynamics to the ongoing savings trend and attractive rates. Thus, the share of new clients was 40% versus 30% for the same period last year. We see changes in the terms of placement: this year the terms of three and six months are in the lead, they accounted for 40% and 56%, respectively, versus 19% and 37% last year,” noted Alexey Kosyakov.
