
MOSCOW, July 1 St. Petersburg's Zenit has extended its contract with midfielder Alexander Erokhin, the football club's website reports.
The new agreement with the 34-year-old Russian is for one season. Last season, he played 27 matches for the club, scored one goal and made three assists.
Erohin has represented Zenit since 2017 and, together with the club, has become Russian champion six times, won the Russian Cup twice and the Russian Super Cup four times. He also represented Moldova's Sheriff, and in Russia he played for Krasnodar, SKA-Khabarovsk, Yekaterinburg's Ural and Rostov. Erokhin has 32 matches for the Russian national team, in which he scored four goals and made three assists.
