MOSCOW, July 2 The Tagansky Court of Moscow fined the streaming service Twitch 1 million rubles for refusing to remove prohibited content, the court reported.
«Twitch Interactive, Inc. was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, and was given an administrative fine in the amount of one million rubles,» said the agency's interlocutor.
Previously, a court in Moscow repeatedly fined Twitch under various articles of the Administrative Code, including for failure to remove prohibited content.
Twitch is a video streaming service specializing in computer games, owned by Twitch Interactive, a subsidiary of Amazon.
