Bastrykin ordered to report on the investigation into the suicide of a female investigator from Sochi
The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, requested a case of suicide of a female investigator from Sochi. The general ordered a report on the progress of the investigation. This was reported in the official telegram channel of the department's press service for the Krasnodar Territory.
The regional Investigative Directorate noted that illegal actions against the victim were committed several weeks before the tragic incident; she required medical assistance. The details of the terrible story that shocked the resort town in November 2019 were recalled by the portal sochi1.ru.
On that day, Maria Klochkova, who graduated from the Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with honors, was found dead in her office. Her service pistol was found next to her body.
At the same time, seven weeks before her death, she was hospitalized with severe bleeding due to sexual intercourse with an operative from her department.
The girl was in depressed and, according to media reports, tried to transfer from Sochi to another place for service. However, management did not approve of her transfer.
Colleagues invited the girl to celebrate Criminal Investigation Day with them on the evening of October 5th. After the celebration, a young operative from the Khosta police department offered to give her a ride home. But for some reason, the girl ended up with him in the hotel, where everything happened.
Exactly seven weeks after the fatal party, the investigator went into her office, and after a while a shot was fired from there.
Next to her also lay a suicide note, cut off mid-sentence, in which Maria only reproached herself for her failures.
