The digital art festival competition «Hour of Digital» has started

MOSCOW, July 3 The New Tretyakov Gallery has launched the Digital Hour digital art festival competition, the project's press service reported.
The launch was given during the opening of the exhibition «The Nature of the Object. Contemporary Design and traditions» in the New Tretyakov Gallery.
«Digital Hour» is the world's first online festival of digital art, the result of which will be a display of media artists' works on digital screens of the participating cities.

Artists can send their works for five nominations: «IT science-art», «New Facets of Reality», «Cities of the Future», «Universe of Cyborgs», «Parks of the Future», «Heritage in Digital».

«Applications for participation in «Digital Hour» are accepted from July 1 to September 16, then the stage of selection of finalists will begin. And on October 4, on the «Night of Innovations», media works of the open call finalists will be launched simultaneously on screens in Moscow and other Russian cities for one hour,» the project's press service explained.
The festival is organized by the Moscow Innovation Agency and SAS Metagallery.
