MOSCOW, July 7 The current Wimbledon champion, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, made it through to the quarterfinals of the third Grand Slam tournament of the season, which takes place on the grass courts of London.
In the fourth round match, Alcaraz, seeded third, beat Frenchman Hugo Humbert (16th seed) with a score of 6:3, 6:4, 1:6, 7:5. The athletes spent exactly three hours on the court.
Alcaraz will compete for reaching the semi-finals of the tournament with the winner of the match Tommy Paul (USA, 12) — Roberto Bautista-Agut (Spain).
