DOM.RF together with Kavkaz.RF will develop the investment potential of the North Caucasus Federal District

DOM.RF and Kavkaz.RF will improve mechanisms for attracting and supporting investors in projects for the preservation and reconstruction of cultural heritage sites, health resort complexes, as well as in the field of housing construction in the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD ). The parties signed a corresponding agreement at CIF-2024.

The document also involves the exchange of information about cultural heritage sites and sanatorium-resort complexes in the North Caucasus, which can be “relaunched” with the participation of DOM.RF. To implement joint projects, the parties intend to attract private investment, including from regions outside the North Caucasian Federal District.

“DOM.RF has accumulated significant experience and has a set of tools that can ensure the implementation of large investment projects without only in housing, but also in tourism. By linking our expertise and the resources of Kavkaz.RF, we will accelerate the creation of a comfortable urban environment and new points of attraction in the North Caucasus Federal District, as well as infrastructure renewal,” said Alexander Aksakov, director of the Infrastructure Bonds division of DOM.RF.

As part of the agreement, the companies will explore the possibility of preferential financing for the modernization of transport, road and utility infrastructure in the North Caucasus. In particular, the mechanism of infrastructure bonds can be used for this. At the same time, DOM.RF and Kavkaz.RF also plan to prepare financial instruments and products intended directly for the business community of the North Caucasian Federal District.

“Development of the urban environment, master planning, and most importantly the restoration of sanatoriums -resort complex — all these are priority tasks identified by the president. We expect that together with DOM.RF we will significantly speed up their solution by combining our knowledge, experience, expertise and financial instruments,” said First Deputy General Director of Kavkaz.RF Andrey Tsemakhovich.
