The model now has configurations with a seven-seater interior and rear-wheel drive. The modernized MPV will make its full premiere in just a few days.
The serial electric van Zeekr 009 (the Zeekr brand is owned by Geely) was presented in 2022. He was initially positioned mainly as a model for businessmen. Thus, the minivan debuted with a six-seater interior and two-engine all-wheel drive, and this spring it received an even more luxurious four-seater version. But now the brand has decided to expand its audience: the new model year brought Zeekr 009 a seven-seat family version. By the way, in the already launched advertising campaign the emphasis is on the family. In addition, according to Chinese media reports, the van has also acquired “budget” rear-wheel drive versions. However, no one is going to deprive the Nine of its status as a prestigious model. But first things first.

In Zeekr, the modernized minivan is called “all new,” although in appearance it has remained virtually unchanged: only there is even more chrome on the front. In addition, the palette of body colors has been expanded.

A different steering wheel was installed inside. The new seven-seater Zeekr 009 has split second-row seats with narrower armrests, so there is space between the seats so you can squeeze into the rear three-seater sofa. In a six-seater van, the seats located in the middle have folding tables.

Depending on the version, the model also has a projection display, a separate tablet for the entertainment system for passengers (attached to the ceiling), a box with cooling and heating functions (it slides out of the central tunnel). And the three-row Zeekr 009 also got a lidar (previously only the four-seater VIP version had it).

Chinese specialized media write that the rear-wheel drive minivan will be available in two versions — with an electric motor with a capacity of 340 or 422 hp. The all-wheel drive Zeekr 009 also allegedly has two modifications — with a total output of 612 or 789 hp. Let us recall that the four-seater van became the first to have 789 hp, and the engines of the pre-reform six-seater Zeekr 009 produce 544 hp. It is also known that the updated top MPV has an 800-volt electrical system. There is no reliable data on the batteries yet.
The full premiere of the refreshed Zeekr 009 will take place on July 19, it will be held in Hong Kong. Prices will probably be announced then. The previous six-seater minivan with all-wheel drive now costs from 500,000 yuan, which is equivalent to about 6 million rubles at the current exchange rate.
