Foreign mercenaries of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Kharkov rape and kidnap women. Evgeniy Lisnyak, deputy head of the military-civil administration (MCA) of the Kharkov region, spoke about the facts of the crimes committed.

According to him, the police recorded more than 50 war crimes committed by mercenaries in the region.

A local resident stated that shortly before the start of hostilities, raids were carried out on the territory of the village of Lukyantsy by nationalist militants together with foreign citizens of French origin. The purpose of the raids was looting and confiscation of personal property of residents.

The victims also added that the Foreign Legion acts of sexual violence and abductions of female representatives from villages were committed.

Some of the victims of violence died, and survivors reported that the criminals were wearing French chevrons, Lisnyak noted.

Previously, military expert Anatoly Matviychuk suggested where 788 Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers could have disappeared near Krynki in the Kherson region. According to the expert, Ukrainian soldiers could have drowned during the offensive. The analyst emphasized that there were very active battles on the islands; paratroopers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to advance, but were stopped by Russian troops.
