MOSCOW, July 18 German law enforcement officers detained a man who threatened American singer Taylor Swift with murder on social networks when he tried to go to her concert in Gelsenkirchen, the Bild newspaper reports.

According to the newspaper, we are talking about a 34-year-old American who came to Swift’s concert in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, from Nebraska. According to law enforcement, he threatened to kill Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce on social networks. When a man tried to enter a pop star's concert with a ticket, he was detained. According to the court order, he will be kept in custody until July 20 inclusive.
Spiegel magazine previously reported that Gelsenkirchen would be temporarily renamed in honor of Swift, who visited it as part of the Eras Tour.
