The Four Elements gastrofestival will be held in Moscow

MOSCOW, July 18 The Four Elements creative serving gastrofestival, which will feature chefs from more than 40 restaurants, will be held in Moscow from July 18 to August 11, the organizers reported. events.
“Chefs from more than 40 restaurants in the capital will create sets of four dishes and drinks, based on the recommendations of the famous astrologer and TV presenter Vasilisa Volodina about the connection of products with the energy of the four elements — Fire, Earth, Air and Water,” the festival’s press service said.
The main intrigue is how exactly the chefs will creatively embody the “star” theme in their creative presentations. All this will be assessed by an authoritative jury of key gastronomic observers and bloggers in Moscow.

As part of the Four Elements festival, a gastronomic gala dinner will be held, as well as a number of other events, including a public talk by Vasilisa Volodina, where she will talk about how the balance of the four elements is important for human well-being and will reveal the secrets of the stars. All guests of the festival will be able to take part in a competition from VK: just subscribe to the “Four Elements” community on VKontakte and post a photo or video of the set on your page with the hashtag #4Elements, adding a text review. The author of the most creative publication will win a personal consultation with Vasilisa Volodina. Also, using the hashtag #4 elements on VKontakte, you can publish your interpretation of the astrological elements and win a blogging kit — a smartphone, a tripod and a ring lamp. Participating restaurants will also receive gifts from VK. The chef whose set will be recognized as the most creative in execution and meaning will receive a special prize from the organizers — 100 thousand rubles.

The festival is organized by the VK Community Relations Department. The co-organizers were gastronomic observer and author of the «Food and the City» channel Maria Lobanova and curator of the «First Guide» Mikhail Shenstein.
