Russian policeman fished out of river after fight

The senior lieutenant got into a fight with an unknown man and dived into the river.

A conflict between two men occurred near the Petrovsky Stadium on the night of July 20, Fontanka reports.

A 26-year-old drug control operative had an argument at a gas station with one of the clients. The policeman hit him on the head with a bottle. And then he decided to cool his ardor and jumped into the Zhdanovka River. Why he did this is unknown.

The young policeman was pulled out of the water at around five in the morning. He was brought to the police duty station. Where the security department officers took the brawler from.

There are no further details of the incident.
