The Artezio company (part of the LANIT group), together with Comindware and the Russoft association, conducted a nationwide study on the digital transformation of business in Russia. It was attended by companies from various industries, representatives of small businesses and large corporations.
The study revealed that Russian business is actively moving along the path of digital transformation with an emphasis on information technology. About 40% of respondents represented this particular area. A significant portion of respondents (45%) have a staff of more than 200 employees involved in automation processes, which indicates a serious scale of implementation of digital technologies.
Most companies are at advanced stages of digitalization: 38% are optimizing already implemented solutions, and 10% have completed the main stages of transformation.
Investing in digitalization remains a priority for many companies. More than a third of respondents (38%) have already invested over 3.5 million rubles. in digital transformation, and almost the same number (31%) plan to invest similar amounts in the coming year.
Financial operations are leading in the automation of business processes: 72% of companies have automated accounting and tax accounting. Automation of resource management (55%) and client processes (48%) is also popular.
Among the tools, the most common are EDI (83%), CRM (66%) and project management systems (62 %). Interest in advanced technologies is growing: 17% of companies use business analytics tools, and 10% have started using AI.
Most companies (79%) have a clear digitalization strategy. The main expectations are related to increasing the efficiency of business processes (48%) and profit growth (24%).
The key challenges remain the selection of suitable tools (31%), preparing employees for changes (28 %) and ensuring data security (17%).
The study revealed growing interest in domestic solutions for business process management (BPM). Among the most popular are Comindware, BPMSoft and ABBYY Timeline.
