MOSCOW, July 23, Andrey Simonenko. President of the International Skating Union (ISU) Jae Yeol Kim said that artificial intelligence will soon help in figure skating judging.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) session in Paris is taking place on the eve of the 2024 Summer Olympics on July 23-24.
«Thank you to the IOC for introducing artificial intelligence into sports. Some sports, such as figure skating, rely heavily on judges. When people judge, this sometimes leads to misunderstandings or contradictions. We are happy that artificial intelligence will soon help people in refereeing, the ISU will be happy to cooperate with the IOC and support its desire to use artificial intelligence for the development of sports,” said Jae Yeol Kim.
