MOSCOW, July 23 The new season of the VTB United League will begin on the 21st September, according to the basketball organization’s Telegram channel.
In the opening match of the regular season, the current champion CSKA Moscow will host last season's finalist UNICS Kazan. The regular season will end on April 13.
In the upcoming season, 12 teams will play four rounds in the regular season (two games at home and two games away). Teams that take places from first to sixth advance to the playoffs. Clubs ranked from seventh to tenth place enter the play-in, where they will play for the remaining two places in the playoffs.
