FSB: The man accused of blowing up Serebryakov's car was transported from Turkey to Russia
As a result of prompt actions by the special services and law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Turkey, on July 26, 2024, Russian citizen Yevgeny Serebryakov, who was on the international wanted list and is suspected of blowing up a car in the north of Moscow, was delivered to Russia. This was reported by the public relations center of the FSB of Russia.
He was found in Bodrum and detained. 29-year-old Serebryakov was charged under Part 3 of Article 30 and Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder) and Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal handling of explosives). The defendant's actions resulted in injuries to two people and the destruction of a car on Sinyavinskaya Street in Moscow.
The details of the incident remain classified for now, but investigators have already begun additional investigations. Earlier, the Zamoskvoretsky Court ruled to charge Serebryakov in absentia with blowing up a car.
The case was transferred to the first department for the investigation of especially important cases of the capital's main Investigative Committee.
