The FAKOSHIMA perfume line was founded in 2019. During this time, FAKOSHIMA has released seven perfumes and six interior fragrances. Today, it is the most recognized Russian independent player in the fast-growing niche perfumery segment. The perfume «Island X» was released in a run of 300 bottles, which is sensational for the Russian market.

We are not talking about a fragrance assembled from ready-made components — we have seen such cases on the market, but about creating our own unique formula. This is an incomparably more complex and lengthy development, which classifies “Island X” as high perfumery.

FAKOSHIMA co-founder and chief perfumer Yaroslav Simonov: ““Island X” sounds like a dream come true. We wanted to create a fragrance that would allow you to touch it.
The sound of the fragrance had to reflect the ambition and hedonism of “Island X” combined with charisma and good taste. At the same time, it also had to reflect the project’s closeness to nature. All these elements had to be reflected in the perfume. Not an easy task.
The composition has many patterns: floral — a combination of rose and iris, complemented by jasmine notes and violet, alcoholic — rum, cane sugar and a tart shade of a wooden barrel, leather — suede and vanilla pod, mineral-marine — the smell of iodine in the breeze and salted teak wood, and these are only the main ones. It was important to «separate» them, to spread them out in space so that they could all be seen. As a result, this makes the aroma look like a kaleidoscope: the angle of preference determines what you will feel.»
«Island X» by Donstroy is two villas of 6 and 7 floors. Their futuristic appearance creates a new dimension. Expressive architecture makes them look like airy caravels that can take off from the ground. Biomorphic forms and an abundance of glass enhance the impression — the width of the floor-to-ceiling windows is up to 5 m, and the height of the ceilings reaches 5.3 m. In total, the project has 18 apartments and 3 penthouses, with only 2-3 residences on each floor. Each property has a private entrance from a panoramic elevator, a terrace and a wood-burning fireplace. All you have to do is choose your floor and footage — from 127 to 540 sq. m.
The open «decks» of the villas offer views of the green sea of the floodplain. Oases with fantastic man-made landscapes are planned around the houses: a decorative pond and waterfall, sensory gardens and a dozen «green rooms». Children's and sports grounds will be arranged in the most remote corners, attracting a minimum of attention. In the villas, a designer lobby, a private lounge and a hall for business meetings are available for communication.
