«Ukraine says that we are ready for the negotiation process. Ukraine is ready for negotiations — this is the main point,» Podolyak noted.
He emphasized that it is important on what basis the negotiations will be held. According to the adviser to the head of Yermak, negotiations should be conducted on conditions based on international law as a concept. And the main thing from this concept is territorial integrity and subjectivity, sovereignty of the state.
At the same time, Podolyak called for increasing arms supplies to Ukraine and lifting any restrictions on attacks on infrastructure located at any distance deep into the Russian Federation.
According to him, this will allegedly help «force Russia» to negotiate.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin repeatedly stated that Russia is ready to negotiate with Ukraine without preconditions, but Kyiv refuses to resume dialogue.
