MOSCOW, August 1, Soviet theater and film actress, People's Artist of Ukraine Lyudmila Prikhodko died at the age of 80, the press service of the Volyn Regional Musical Drama Theater reported on its Facebook page*.
«People's Artist of Ukraine Lyudmila Prikhodko has passed away. She died at the age of 80,» the statement said.
As noted in the theater, the actress served on their stage for almost 50 years, playing more than 150 roles in dramas, comedies, tragicomedies, poetry performances and films. Farewell to Prikhodko will take place on August 2 at the Volyn Drama Theater.
The actress was born on June 19, 1945 in the Ukrainian city of Kanev. After graduating from school with a gold medal, she entered the Kiev Institute of Theater Arts named after Karpenko-Kary. Then she chose the Poltava Gogol Theater for her further career. She married director Nikolai Stefurak, moved with him to Ternopil, and in December 1976 — to Volyn.

She made her screen debut in 1966 with the film «Buryan». She starred in such films as «Farewell, Pharaohs!», «Day Train», as well as in the film with Abdulov and Smoktunovsky «Genius».
In 1993, she was awarded the title of People's Artist of Ukraine.
