About 50 rockets fired from Lebanon at Israel
A missile strike was carried out on northern Israel, and about 50 rockets were fired from Lebanon, the Times of Israel writes.

Later, the Hezbollah movement confirmed the strike, stating that «dozens of rockets» were fired at a populated area in northern Israel.
Earlier, it was reported that Israeli and American intelligence services expect an Iranian attack on Israel today. The Türkiye publication reported that Turkish airlines have canceled or postponed night flights to Tehran. The Turkish publication suggests that this may be related to Iran's plans to attack Israel for the assassination of Hamas Politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh. German, American and British airlines have previously reported the suspension and cancellation of flights to Israel.
On July 31, the Palestinian Hamas movement announced the death of Haniyeh as a result of an Israeli strike on his residence in Tehran, where he was participating in the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian. The Al Hadath television channel reported that Haniyeh was killed by a direct missile hit. Deputy head of the Palestinian Politburo Musa Abu Marzouk assured that this murder will not go unpunished. As a source in the IDF told TASS, the military of the Jewish state is not commenting on the information about Haniyeh's death.
It was reported that the US is transferring combat aircraft to the Middle East to help Israel in the event of a massive missile attack. At the same time, Biden, according to the publication, warned Netanyahu that the US will help Israel repel the attack one last time if it itself escalates again.
