The department specified that 21 residential buildings and 48 garden plots were flooded in Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky. In addition, the water destroyed a bridge there. A total of 81 residents were evacuated from there, including 61 children and one person with limited mobility. 23 people were sent to temporary accommodation centers.

In Orlovsky, the flood flooded 21 houses, in which 63 people live, including 15 children. By morning, the water left the village, rescuers pumped it out of the houses.

In the village of Balyaga, 15 household plots were flooded last night. Twenty local residents were preemptively evacuated to a temporary accommodation point.
The governor of the Zabaikalsky Krai, Alexander Osipov, intends to go to the village of Orlovsky, which was affected by the flood.

«We will hold a meeting of the emergency commission there in the evening, where we will consider the level of the emergency and make decisions on emergency recovery work and assistance to the population,» he said on the Telegram channel.

Deputy Chairman of the regional government Nikolai Zakharov is working in Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky, Osipov noted. Specialists from the regional Ministry of Construction have also left for the site.

In Buryatia, a state of emergency at the republican level was introduced in three districts — Tarbagatai, Zaigraevsky and Mukhorshibirsky. According to the regional prosecutor's office, more than a hundred people were evacuated from the flooded areas in Zaigraevsky and Mukhorshibirsky districts. The department is going to check the conditions in temporary accommodation points and assess the measures to protect the population and territories from emergency situations.

In Tarbagataisky district, more than 370 household plots and ten houses were flooded. People lost their crops and livestock.
In Zaigraevsky district, 30 plots and three private houses were flooded. From there, 10 people were evacuated to temporary accommodation points, including two children.
