MOSCOW, August 2 Russian President Vladimir Putin called Natalya Solzhenitsyna on Friday morning, congratulated her on her birthday and praised her work to popularize Solzhenitsyn's legacy, said Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
«This morning the president called Natalya Dmitrievna Solzhenitsyna on the phone, she recently had a birthday. A little late, but the president personally congratulated her on the phone on her birthday, traditionally gave the highest assessment of the work that Natalya Dmitrievna is doing to popularize Solzhenitsyn's cultural heritage,» Peskov told journalists.
Natalya Solzhenitsyna is a Russian public figure. The widow and closest assistant of the writer Alexander Isaevich Solzhenitsyn.
