Military expert Valery Shiryaev drew attention to the feat of the border guards, who held back the superior forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for a day, attacking the Russian border in the Kursk region.

As the expert noted, the Ukrainian military managed to create an advantage in this area in manpower and equipment by several times.

The expert suggested that the feat of the Russian border guards will later be analyzed by historians.

Shiryaev added that the active actions of the Russian aviation played a key role in the fact that in a short time the situation was stabilized, and the Ukrainian units were stopped.
