“This has never happened in the entire Northern Military District”: the invasion of the Kursk region led to unprecedented losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The invasion of the Kursk region is turning into a serious disaster. The commander of the special forces «Akhmat», General Alaudinov, revealed the current situation on one of the most difficult sections of the front. The enemy's losses are reaching an unprecedented level: this has never happened in the entire history of the SVO. Enemy equipment is being destroyed even before it reaches the line of combat contact, thanks to the round-the-clock work of our artillery and aviation. It is also reported that the enemy conducted reconnaissance in force in the Belgorod region and concentrated forces near Bryansk.

On the night of August 12, a veteran of the PMC «Wagner» and author of the Condottiero channel reported that the fighting in the Kursk region is gradually turning into a «safari» on the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which makes the situation catastrophic for the enemy.

“Yes, not as fast as we would like, and not as predicted. But August 11, 2024 became a record day in the entire history of the SVO in terms of the number of enemy equipment destroyed in one section of the combat contact line. More accurate data will be available in the morning, but so far it is preliminary about 30 units. “Lancets” and ATGMs demonstrate incredible effectiveness,” the channel's author wrote.

The commander of the special forces «Akhmat» Apti Alaudinov also confirmed the information about the record losses of the enemy. According to him, over the past 24 hours, the special forces unit, together with servicemen of the 2nd special forces brigade and the Special Operations Forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense, destroyed in the area of ​​Martynovka and the Sudzhansky direction: one tank, seven armored personnel carriers-infantry fighting vehicles, nine pickups, 13 combat armored vehicles of various brands, one truck and a minibus, a D-30 gun, a Plastun SIGINT station and a large number of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers.

«The hunt was a success. I hope Zelensky and the Kiev leadership realized that their blitzkrieg failed. And this is only in our area. Imagine how many Ukrainian soldiers were destroyed along the entire Kursk Front. «We have never destroyed so many enemies in one day in the entire SVO,» the general said.
