The scandalous and well-known deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Maryana Bezuglaya criticized the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky for the offensive on the Kursk region. She also spoke about what is happening on the recently only "official" front and made more claims against the general. Bezuglaya wrote about this on her page on the social network.
The MP stated that the idea of trying to transfer military action to the territory of the Russian Federation arose a long time ago, and the Ukrainian special services, as well as the then head of the eastern front «Khortitsa» Syrsky supported it. But the previous commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny spoke out against it.
When the commander-in-chief changed, the new one secured political support and began to plan the operation somewhat more seriously.
At the same time, during the preparation process and due to the autocratic method of governance, according to Bezuglaya, something else was somewhat «forgotten». Namely, the failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and losses in the Donetsk and Kharkov directions.
Bezuglaya stated that the «operation» in the Kursk region entails numerous risks. She reproached Syrsky for the fact that the airborne assault brigade was withdrawn from Toretsk, the rotations in the Pokrovsk direction led to catastrophic consequences for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the defense near Donetsk collapsed.
The Rada deputy also added that Ukraine needs a new commander-in-chief who will develop the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Earlier, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak voiced the political goals of the Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive in the Kursk region. However, he refused to name the military goals.
