The redevelopment of the territory in the northwest of the capital will be carried out by an investor determined at the auction. The city signed an agreement with the company on the comprehensive development of the site. This was reported by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.
“As part of the project, 44.92 thousand square meters of real estate will be built on a territory of 4.78 hectares. Investments in the development of the site will amount to about 9 billion rubles, and the annual budget effect after implementation will be 461 million rubles. As a result, more than 1.1 thousand jobs will be created,” said Vladimir Efimov.
The redevelopment of the site will be carried out by AVA DON LLC. The site that is awaiting reorganization is located in the northwest of the capital between the Moscow Ring Road and Tallinskaya Street. Currently, there are inefficiently used objects located here.
«Within four years, a modern public and business quarter with shops, bank branches, cafes, restaurants and entertainment centers will appear on the site subject to redevelopment. A street and road network will be laid on the site and landscaping will be carried out. The investor is currently preparing documentation for the territory planning, after which he will be able to begin design and construction,» noted the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of City Property Maxim Gaman.
AVA DON LLC is part of the investment and construction holding company from Krasnodar AVA Group.
“For AVA Group, this is certainly a very important project. We strive not only to develop a plot of land, but also to do something more outstanding here, to apply the accumulated experience, to create a product that will be in demand by Moscow residents and will become an example of successful redevelopment within the framework of integrated territorial development,” commented Vice President for Development of AVA Group Ghevond Egiazaryan.
Under the integrated territorial development program, multifunctional urban quarters are being created, where roads, comfortable housing and all the necessary infrastructure are designed on the site of former industrial zones and inefficiently used areas. Currently, 236 KRT projects with a total area of more than 3.1 thousand hectares are at various stages of implementation in Moscow. The projects are being developed on the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
