The upgraded full-size SUV, which was assigned the 2025 model year, will go on sale on the American market next spring.
The Lincoln brand belongs to the American company Ford. Its model range includes a full-size SUV, which competes with the Cadillac Escalade on the American market (by the way, it was recently updated). We are talking about the Lincoln Navigator, which appeared back in 1997. Over the years, it has changed generations several times, and the fourth-generation model debuted in 2017. Now the manufacturer has presented the new Navigator, and called it the fifth generation, although in fact the SUV has undergone a major upgrade.

The new Lincoln Navigator has a new exterior: now the exterior is designed in the current corporate style of the brand, which was previously tested on the Nautilus crossover (introduced in the spring of 2023). The SUV received a large radiator grille with a mesh pattern, the design of which varies depending on the version, as well as narrow LED headlights, the double underlining of which is found on the grille, and the brand logo is located at the junction.
The rear lights, designed in the form of a large bracket, are connected to each other by a luminous strip that runs across the entire width of the stern. Under this thin strip is an inscription with the brand name. The trunk door is now divided into two unequal parts — the upper large one rises up (and can be used as an awning), and the remaining lower part is a folding side, which can be used as a seat when parked. The standard wheel rims for this model are 22 inches, 24-inch «rollers» are available for an additional fee.
The dimensions of the model have remained virtually unchanged: the length of the standard SUV is 5,334 mm, while the «stretched» Navigator L is 5,636 mm; the width, as before, is 2,032 mm, the height has decreased by 8 mm and is now 1,981 mm. The distance between the axles has not changed — 3,112 mm for the regular Navigator and 3,340 mm for the extended version. The models retained the adaptive independent spring suspension (with the camera recognizing the surface relief in advance so that the electronics can change the stiffness of the shock absorbers if necessary).

The new Lincoln Navigator has a different interior. In front of the driver is a different two-spoke steering wheel, slightly «flattened» on both sides. On the other front panel, closer to the windshield, there is a huge display that displays both a virtual instrument cluster and some information from the multimedia complex. Its diagonal is 48 inches, and control of this screen is available only when parked. Below is a more familiar touchscreen monitor (diagonal — 11.1 inches), which can be used on the go.

The SUV is equipped with a Revel Ultima 3D sound system with 28 speakers, air freshener, front seats and second-row seats (optional) with a massage function, and the third row is offered with heating and electric drive. The Lincoln Navigator of the model year is also available with advanced cruise control BlueCruise.

After the upgrade, the Lincoln Navigator remained with the same technology. So, under the hood is a 446-horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine with a volume of 3.5 liters, the maximum torque of which is 691 Nm. It is offered in pair with the only alternative ten-speed automatic transmission. Only all-wheel drive. It was previously assumed that the model would have hybrid versions, but there is no official information about them yet.

The new Lincoln Navigator will go on sale in the American market in the spring of 2025, prices will be announced later. The starting price of the current SUV is $83,265 (equivalent to about 7.45 million rubles at the current exchange rate), the updated version will probably be more expensive.
