Sir Keir Starmer will announce he has plans for a decade in power and promises that Labor will “make Britain build” if the party wins the next general election.
Speaking to conference delegates in Liverpool, the Labor Party leader will insist his party will never again be the “party of protest” as it has been in the recent past.
Sir Keir will say Labor will prioritize economic growth at the forefront of his election campaign, capturing political territory traditionally associated with the Conservative Party.
He also predicts that «the tide is turning» in Scotland. where the collapse of support for the Scottish National Party after more than a decade of dominance could help him reach Downing Street.
The conference speech, possibly the last Sir Keir will give before the next election, is intended to make it clear that Labor has plans and a vision ready for government.
Sir Keir is expected to say Labor will «turn our backs on the Tories' endless decline and a decade of national renewal» by giving the British people «the government they deserve».

He will add that the Labor Party is now “the party of service… country first, party second.”
The Labor leader refers to the planning overhaul announced by Rachel Reeves , his shadow chancellor, when he promises to increase housing production in his office.
Sir Keir will promise to “make Britain build” and unleash a “big build”. He will add: “People are looking to us because they want us to build a new Britain, and we are builders.”
On the decline of the Scottish National Party, he will say: “The Scottish people are not only looking to us, they also look at Britain. For the first time in a long time, we are seeing things turn around.”
There will also be messages of optimism, including the statement: “What is broken can be fixed, what is broken can be fixed.” be restored.»
In her speech on Monday, Ms Reeves promised to approach public finances with an «iron discipline» as she tried to demonstrate fiscal responsibility during her conference speech.
She received support when Mark Carney, the former Bank of England governor picked in 2013 by George Osborne, backed her as chancellor.
