In Moscow, on the basis of the University Gymnasium of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, the Summer Olympiad School of the Melnichenko Foundation started, which brought together 45 students of grades 9-11 from Barnaul, Biysk, Rubtsovsk, Kemerovo, Kiselevsk , Novomoskovsk, Nevinnomyssk. All of them are pupils of the foundation's talent centers, who became winners and prize-winners of the regional and final stages of the All-Russian Olympiads for schoolchildren in chemistry, physics and mathematics.

For the first time, seven schoolchildren from abroad will take part in the Summer Olympiad School of the Melnichenko Foundation. In the spring, during the 58th International Mendeleev Olympiad in Chemistry in China, entrepreneur and founder of the foundation Andrei Melnichenko personally invited high school students from Kazakhstan and Kenya to come to Moscow.

During two weeks of study at the University Gymnasium of Moscow State University, talented schoolchildren will undergo an intensive educational program aimed at in-depth preparation for the final tests of the country's main school Olympic tournament. During the classes, students will examine complex topics and have the opportunity to work in university laboratories, completing tasks of increased complexity.

“We set ourselves the task within the framework of the Summer School not only to provide effective preparation for participation in high-level Olympiads, but also to promote general intellectual and personal development of children, broadening their horizons and developing creative abilities, imagination and creativity,” noted Alexandra Didenko, director of the “Education” direction of the Melnichenko Foundation. According to her, the school program, in addition to daily six-hour classes in Olympiad subjects, includes creative master classes, sports activities and excursions to Moscow museums.
