Robert De Niro gives birth to seventh child at age 79

Robert De Niro has revealed that he has welcomed his seventh child at the age of 79.

The Oscar-winning actor revealed the news during an interview to promote his latest film, About My father.»

De Niro has a daughter, Drena, 51, and a son, Rafael, 46, from his first marriage to Dianne Abbott.

In 1995 he had twin sons Julian and Aaron, now 27, with his ex-girlfriend, model Tuki Smith.< /p>

He also has 24-year-old Elliot and 11-year-old daughter Helen Grace by second marriage to Grace Hightower.

Discussing parenting with ET Canada, he said he believes in «loving [his] children» despite sometimes having to «be strict with things.»

When asked about his six children, De Niro replied, «Actually, seven.»

He added, «I just had a baby.»

De Niro did not provide any further details about his latest offspring or the child's mother.

However, his current girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, appears to be flaunting her midriff when photographed at dinner with De Niro last month.< /p>

The actor was first linked to Chen, a martial arts instructor from New York, in 2021 when the couple celebrated his 78th birthday in France.

The couple, who worked together on The Intern in 2015, were seen on a trip to Spain the following year.

Chen began skating at the age of eight and won three gold medals in regional figure skating competitions skating. Competition by age 11, according to her father's online biography.

She switched to martial arts as a teenager, drawing inspiration from her father, William Chen, a grandmaster and martial arts instructor.

Becoming a grandfather, the actor gave some advice on raising young children.

He told ET Canada: “I mean, there's nothing you can do about children. I don't like breaking laws and things like that. But [sometimes] you just don't have a choice.

«And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing with children and give them reason to doubt, but sometimes you can't.”

Two-time Oscar winner for his roles in The Godfather: Part 2 and The Godfather. Raging Bull, De Niro is currently promoting the new comedy About My Father, which will premiere on May 26.
