Recently, the manufacturer showed one teaser of a future novelty, on which only the front of the van could be seen.
The German company began production of the Mercedes-Benz V-Class in 1996, since then the model has changed three generations, the current passenger van (the name of the van is Vito) entered the market back in 2014. The model went through a restyling at the beginning of 2019; later, in the summer of the same year, a production version of the all-electric version was introduced, which received its own name — EQV (van — e-Vito).
On the photo: a prototype of the updated Mercedes-Benz V-Class restyled cars, according to the plan, should debut this summer. It is expected that the refreshed vans of the family during the restyling will receive a changed appearance, as well as a different interior and the latest version of the MBUX infotainment system.
A few days ago, the German brand published a teaser of the updated V-Class. Recall that in this picture the front part of the future novelty was captured. Judging by this image, the freshened model will get a larger grille, in addition, it will obviously have revised LED head optics, as well as a new front bumper with air intakes designed in the style of AMG versions. It is assumed that restyling will allow the V-Class to become closer in style to the current Mercedes-Benz passenger car lineup. » />
Now the updated Mercedes-Benz V-Class has been driven on camera: a prototype of the future refreshed van was caught during tests on public roads in southern Europe. The pictures were shared with us by colleagues from the Spanish publication Motor.es. The car is still partially «hidden» with a masking film. It almost completely covers the front (except for the hood), as well as the lights and the rear bumper. >And if the front part has already appeared on the teaser, then we have not yet seen the stern of the restyled business van. It is assumed that the lanterns will leave the same or similar vertical shape, but their «stuffing» and graphics will be new. The lower part of the rear bumper is obviously also waiting for a portion of changes. Sidewalls and roof rails will probably remain unchanged. failed. It is expected that the updated V-Class will receive a completely new front panel with two 10.25-inch displays (one of them is a virtual “tidy”, the second is a touchscreen of branded multimedia). It is likely that there will be an additional touch panel on the center console to control various functions of the car. V-Class
According to the publication, the refreshed Mercedes-Benz V-Class will be offered in Europe only with diesel engines (and without any, even minimal electrification). All variants will get a nine-speed automatic transmission; 4Matic all-wheel drive system available. It is expected that the updated business van will appear on the European market in the spring of 2024.
