Jimmy Anderson doesn't believe that Australia — or indeed any team in world cricket — can «handle» England's aggressive approach if they win at the Ashes this summer.
Anderson's immediate concern is to take to the pitch at Edgbaston on 16 June. The groin strain he suffered while playing for Lancashire last weekend means he is likely to miss the Test against Ireland, but he is confident he will be ready for his 10th Ashes series with his focus on beating the Aussies.< /p>
It's tourists' turn to try to answer the question: How do you solve a problem like Bazball? New Zealand, India, South Africa and Pakistan have struggled over the last year: England have won 10 and only lost two of their first 12 Tests under Ben Stokes and Brandon McCallum.
“They are naturally extremely competitive, aggressive when they're playing,” Anderson said, speaking for Radox, England's official cricket partner.
"They'll talk it over and make their plans… I just think if we do what we've been doing and playing as well as we can, I don't think anyone in the world can handle it.
“We see how different teams react and how things work against different teams. Because I'm sure we're going to have to do something a little different against Australia because they might have a different game and something else, but we've handled everything we've come across so far. It was exciting.
“It seems to me that if we can keep the same mentality and the same feelings in the dressing room that we had: it’s pretty calm, we’re trying to have fun, we’re trying to entertain people, choose the positive option. If you look at our team, if we play at our best with that attitude, I don't think anyone can beat us. So yes, I think we can win.”
England's approach to batting was their most notable change as the record streak was broken. But Anderson thinks just as significant were the changes Stokes made to their approach to bowling: Since Stokes took over, they've taken 10 wickets in every inning they've played.
“It may not seem like a big deal, but it’s a shift in thinking from previous modes,” Anderson explained. «Then we said, 'If we have less than 2.7 runs per over, we'll put pressure on and create chances.' At the moment Ben doesn't care about running speed, he wants to get 20 wickets as fast as possible… It never gets boring. It helped the bowlers"
Seventeen months after their last winless tour of Australia (it's been 12 years since they last won the Test Down Under), England will search for Ashes for the first time since 2017. Ben Stokes' The team has a lot going for them, having won 10 of their first 12 Tests under his captaincy, as well as enjoying a superb record in the last five home series against their most venerable opponent, four of which have been won and the last in 2019, drawn.

What is Ash's recent history?
Having lost the first Ashes of the 21st century 4-1 on Steve Waugh's last tour here, England played the Ashes in memorable style in 2005, brought them back in 2009, both times 2-1, kept them. 3-0 in 2013, beat them 3-2 in 2015 and rallied to tie the series at 2-2 four years ago, though they couldn't stop the owners from retaining their possession of the urn.
In the 1980s and 1990s, the Ashes home streak in England was extended to six Tests, but after the conclusion of the Australian tour in 1997, they were judiciously reduced to five, and this time the format remains the same.
There is one significant and controversial difference, however, due to the 50-man World Cup in October, which England will start as reigning champions, and the desire of the England and Wales Cricket Board to host their 100-player competition in August . The series will take place before the height of summer, and only the final test will be held after the public schools have gone on a long break.

What is our prediction?
In the 13 tests in England since the summer of Covid 2020, there have been just two draws and none for the last 10, Rob writes . Bagchi. In 2015 every Test came back positive and one could gamble that with good weather, England's aggressive tactics, Australia's brilliant attack, a firmer Dukes ball line and Ashes' home swan song for Messrs. Broad and Anderson (Ash's 84 and 44 wickets in England respectively, although Anderson only managed four overs in 2019) that all five tests would end in a winner. England's excellent home results of late and their refreshing approach convince this observer to repeat 2015 in terms of series results, but with closer fixtures: England 3-2 Australia.
