Sculpture on Jeff Bezos' yacht bears a striking resemblance to Lauren Sanchez
Jeff Bezos, founder and former CEO of Amazon, installed a wooden sculpture his friend Lauren Sanchez at the bow of their $500 million (£401.7 million) superyacht.
The couple were spotted sailing on a vessel called the Koru. , around the Spanish island of Mallorca last Monday.
The sculpture wears a necklace with the Koru symbol, which means loop or spiral in Maori, and is based on the spiral shape of an unfolding silver fern branch.
Koru symbolizes new beginnings and a new phase of development. life, positive change, personal growth and hope for the future are a very important symbol of the Maori tradition.
'The man of my dreams'
Mr Bezos, currently ranked by Forbes as the Third Richest Man in a $141 billion world, posted Cora's photo on Instagram on New Year's Eve as a slideshow of photos from his disco.
“The New Year is also a great time to take stock and focus on personal growth, renewal, rebirth and paying close attention to every moment of your life,” he wrote. “Good and bad. All this. Celebrate and evolve.”
Described as the largest sailing yacht in the world, this yacht, according to Boat International, features three huge masts and multiple decks, including one with a pool.
>< p>Mr Bezos and Ms Sanchez, 53, went public in 2019 after he announced his divorce from Mackenzie, his wife of 25.
In January, the former Good Day LA co-host congratulated her billionaire boyfriend on Instagram on his 59th birthday.
“Happy birthday to the man of my dreams who lights up my world with his laughter and kind heart. You showed me that no great love requires courage,” she wrote.

Earlier this month, the pair were seen together at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami.

Last Friday, NASA announced that it had selected Blue Origin, the space company founded by Mr. Bezos, to build its second lunar lander.
The lander Blue Origin has been selected for the Artemis 5 mission, currently scheduled for 2029. The company will first need to demonstrate that it can safely land on the moon without a crew.
