Skoda Enyaq Laurin & Klement: new technology, different decor and rich equipment

Newly designed electric crossovers have increased range on a single charge — the rear-wheel drive version has an indicator of 570 km, the » all-wheel drive» — ​​550 km.

The Skoda brand, which is part of the German concern Volkswagen, introduced the all-electric Enyaq crossover and its “charged” version with an increase in RS in September 2020. Later, at the beginning of 2022, the family expanded due to similar crossover variants with a coupe-like body. Now the Czech brand has declassified the top version of the model, which received the traditional addition of Laurin & Klement.

Recall that the performance of Laurin & Klement (L&K) got its name in honor of the founders of Skoda — Vaclav Laurin and Vaclav Klement. Premium trim is available for both the Skoda Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe. Such top versions have differences from “ordinary” electric crossovers, including at the exterior level.

The interior of the top performance also has its own differences. The L&K variants come standard with beige leather upholstery, with black leather available as an option. In addition, such crossovers received ambient lighting, as well as aluminum pedals. The front seats have heating, ventilation and massage functions. The Enyaq L&K has a new user interface for the Skoda Cl, which is planned to be used on all future models. We are talking about a revised and simplified menu structure, a different navigation, a different infotainment system graphics and a virtual “tidy”. The model also has a Kessy keyless entry system that automatically locks the doors when the driver leaves the car.

Enyaq Laurin & Klement received an updated technique, both in the rear-wheel drive version (that is, one electric motor on the rear axle, which debuted on the Volkswagen ID.7), and in the AWD modification (one electric motor on each axle). The return in any of the options is 286 hp. It takes 6.7 seconds for a rear-wheel drive crossover with an 85 index to accelerate from zero to a hundred, and 6.6 seconds for an all-wheel drive crossover with an index of 85x.
