The SUV will make its full premiere in July. In the production homeland, the novelty will be available with a gasoline “aspirated” and its gas version.
Hyundai continues to stir up interest in the compact inexpensive Exter cross: fresh images have been published (including the first branded picture of the stern), in addition, details about the equipment have appeared. Recall that the debut and main market for the model will be India, where production will also be established. At the same time, Hyundai Exter is expected to reach other developing countries later.
According to preliminary information, the SUV is made on the basis of the Indian Hyundai Grand i10 Nios hatchback, although the cross still has an original body and its own design. By the way, externally Exter echoes the next generation Hyundai Santa Fe (not yet presented). From the common — a radiator grille in the form of a wide die and LED H built into the optics (the state employees have running lights and brake lights in the form of these letters). Other features of the appearance of the compact are “protective plates” on the bumpers, squared wheel arches, embossed inserts in the rear roof pillars and on the tailgate. Sizes are still undisclosed. The Indian Grand i10 Nios is 3815mm long and 2450mm axle-to-axle.

There are no full-fledged branded pictures of the interior yet. However, one of the images shows that the tidy and screen of the multimedia system were placed in one case. It is also stated that already «in the base» Hyundai Exter has six airbags, ABS and EBD, rear parking sensors. Rich versions still have ESC, a sunroof (it can be opened by simply voicing a command) and a rear-view camera. In addition, a full-time DVR with two cameras is provided (one is directed outward, the second is directed into the cabin).

In India, Hyundai Exter will be offered with a gasoline four-cylinder “aspirated” 1.2 and its gas version: the local Grand also has such engines, on a hatchback they give out 83 and 69 hp. respectively. Both motors are combined with a five-speed «mechanics», purely gasoline can still be paired with a robotic box. Front wheel drive exclusively.
Indian dealers are already taking orders for the Exter, but pricing has yet to be announced : the presentation of the model will take place on July 10. Probably, the cross will be more expensive than the Grand i10 Nios (from 573,400 rupees or about 554,000 rubles at the current exchange rate), but cheaper than another Hyundai subcompact SUV — Venue (from 771,600 rupees or 746,000 rubles).
