The young Chinese company Skywell introduces its second model to the Russian market – a mid-size plug-in hybrid crossover HT-i, the minimum price is 3,990,000 rubles.
Skywell officially came to our country last fall with the ET5 electric crossover, and now the HT-i socket hybrid is entering the market, the technical stuffing of which we analyzed in detail in a separate material. Skywell ET5 and HT-i have the same interior design, and outside they differ only in the design of the front end, but their power plants are fundamentally different, and therefore ET5 and HT-i can be considered different models, especially since their target audience is different.< /p> 
In terms of prices, an electric car and a hybrid differ slightly – both are expensive, but a hybrid is much more versatile and long-range: it is not tied to an outlet, although the ideology of plug-in hybrids still involves regular connection to a home or public charging terminal.
The Skywell HT-i power plant consists of a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline (103 hp, 135 Nm), an electric motor (177 hp, 300 Nm), a generator and an electromechanical variator that “conducts” energy flows . All modules of the power unit are tightly packed under the hood, the drive is only front. The overall length of the Skywell HT-i is 4720 mm, the wheelbase is 2800 mm, the ground clearance is 146 mm, so this “Chinese” belongs to the crossover clan purely nominal, he has nothing to do off-road. The salon is strictly five-seater, the trunk volume is 467 liters, with the second row seats folded down – 1141 liters.
p>The capacity of the traction battery is 21.7 kWh in the Comfort and Premium trim levels and 32.8 kWh in the Luxury trim, the WLTP electric range is 81 and 145 km, respectively. In hybrid mode, Skywell HT-i can travel more than 1000 km on a single charge/refueling, the fuel tank capacity is 60 liters. Up to 100 km/h, a crossover with a battery with a capacity of 21.7 kWh will accelerate in 7.9 s, with a battery of 32.8 kWh in 8.2 s, the maximum speed in both cases is limited at around 170 km/h .
In the basic Comfort configuration, the hybrid crossover costs 3,990,000 rubles, it includes two frontal airbags, ESC, climate control, heated front seats, a panoramic glass roof, rain sensors and lights, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera, 12.8″ infotainment system, 8-speaker audio system, power tailgate and 18″ alloy wheels.
Side and window airbags, modern electronic driver assistants (including adaptive cruise control and car parking), all-round cameras, an electrochromic interior mirror, wireless charging for a smartphone, atmospheric LED interior lighting (128 colors to choose from), a fine cabin air filter and other small amenities, wheels are 19-inch.
Top version Luxury for 4,790,000 rubles it has not only an increased capacity traction battery, but also long-range laser headlights, an advanced Skyworth Movie audio system with a subwoofer, a fast battery charging mode and the ability to power external electrical appliances from it.
