Andy Murray finally got a Wimbledon picture after an initial snub reaction infuriated the family

Grant Grünhaupt's new image commemorates the 10th anniversary of Andy Murray's first Wimbledon triumph

Wimbledon artist under fire from Andy Family Murray for not including him in the picture of the famous rivalry, presented his latest work – this time with a two-time champion in the title role.

The new picture shows Murray ten years ago, celebrating his first championship title . net from his childhood himself struck on the right.

The artwork sparked immediate speculation from cynics that the image may have been created in response to the alarm that Murray was not in the previous celebrity photo.

However, the All England Club clarified that both paintings were commissioned from at the same time, and it was always planned to publish an image of the Brit the day he appeared in court again.

The paintings were created by Grant Grüngaupt, an illustrator specializing in sports scenes, who also provided the All England Club with advertising images in time of last year's Wimbledon.

“The Dunblane boy who made his dream come true at the Court Centre,” reads the caption next to the new Twitter photo.

“10 years after his triumph, Andy Murray is back on Wimbledon's biggest stage.”

The image likely received a warmer welcome from the Murray family, who called other pre-Wimbles promotional images “terrible in every way.”< /p>

The previous image shows two active players, Carlos. Alcaraz and Yannick Sinner standing in the center of the clubhouse. Behind them, Roger Federer stands on the stairs, hugging each of his most bitter opponents: Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.

Murray's brother Jamie responded to the All England Club's Instagram post with a simple comment: “Where's Andy Murray?” He later added that he considered the omission disrespectful.

Andy's uncle, Niall Erskine, also spoke candidly in an outburst on Twitter: “Disgusting on every level,” Erskine tweeted. “It's all about the people on the front lines and your own British story maker who's nowhere to be seen. You should be ashamed of yourself.”

Earlier in 2019, a scandal erupted when the Lawn Tennis Association did not include a single photo of the Murray family in a costly rebranding document called Tennis Open.

On the anniversary of his first Wimbledon crown, Murray faced Britain's Ryan Peniston on Center Court on Tuesday afternoon, when rain caused the outside courts to be heavily disrupted.

On Saturday, Murray asked organizers do not wear matches in the evening so that he can spend as much time as possible with his family for two weeks.
