According to published data, the Russians began to massively buy used premium cars. Thus, it is reported that in the second quarter the number of cars sold under the age of three years increased by 90.5% compared with the second quarter of last year.
It also became known that the most popular cars were BMW X5, Lexus RX, BMW X7, BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. It is noteworthy that the average cost of such a model is now 6.7 million rubles. At present, they account for approximately 1.8% of the entire automotive market in Russia, a year ago this number was 1.3%.
It is assumed that the reason for the increased interest of citizens in the above models was the quality assembly and reliability. At the same time, due to the current situation on the new car market, buying a car up to three years old no longer seems so strange.
