In the home market, a version of the SUV with an addition of Pro to the name and a refreshed exterior design will join the extensive model family.
The Jetour brand, existing since 201 8 years old, belongs to the «celestial» company Chery. Its products are designed for a youth audience, and the X70 SUV became the first-born. Over the past years, the model has been updated more than once, due to which it managed to acquire many modifications: now it is a separate family. The current line already includes the X70 itself, X70 Zhuge, X70 Plus (in two versions), X70 S and X70 M. Now it's time for another restyling and a new version, this time with the Pro prefix.

Jetour X70 Pro will launch in the Chinese market at the end of this week. The new modification is easy to distinguish by a number of visual differences, including the «X-shaped» face. So, the style of the variant with the addition of Pro has become more dynamic and aggressive due to the new larger radiator grille, which received a pattern in the form of a grid with chrome diamond-shaped elements located inside the cells. />
«Grill» visually almost merges with a trapezoidal air intake integrated into the lower part of the front bumper. They are separated only by a narrow horizontal plate, which runs almost the entire width of the «face». On the sides below this strip are additional air ducts, and above — foglights with four light sources that lined up vertically in a row. The Jetour X70 Pro also has a different shape and pattern for the head optics.
The profile and feed of the X70 Pro are similar to the current version of the X70 Plus. The crossover has the same taillights, interconnected by a wide plate with the brand name, a spoiler on the top of the fifth door and a shark fin antenna on the roof. At the bottom of the bumper, you can see a reflector in the center of the deflector, as well as four round exhaust pipes (two on each side). Unlike the current Plus, the Pro variant has a body kit made of unpainted plastic.
The dimensions of the new mid-size crossover are the same as the current Jetour X70 Plus: length is 4749 mm, width is 1900 mm, and height is 1720 mm; the distance between the axles is 2745 mm. The interior of the modification with the addition of Pro is designed for either five or seven riders (moreover, the backrest angle can be adjusted in the second row of seats). p>The interior largely follows the interior of the Plus, for example, it has the same door panels, a steering wheel, a similarly designed front panel, as well as a similar horizontally elongated screen that combines a pair of 10.25-inch displays. One of them is a digital instrument cluster, the second one plays the role of a touchscreen for the infotainment system.The engine range of the new Pro version will remain the same as the current X70 Plus. A 1.5-liter turbo engine with a return of 156 hp will be offered as the base one. (230 Nm), followed by a 197-horsepower turbo four with a volume of 1.6 liters (290 Nm), and the top-end version will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 254 hp. (390 Nm). Depending on the version, either a six-speed preselective robot or a seven-speed automatic with two wet clutches are offered. The drive is front-wheel drive only.
Recall that earlier Jetour promised to bring its X70 crossover to the Russian market: as Kolesa.ru reported earlier, the SUV will replenish the local lineup in the first half of 2024 year. However, it is not yet known exactly which modification will eventually reach the Russian Federation. To date, the Jetour Dashing and X90 Plus crossovers have already been presented in the Russian Federation, according to the price list, their recommended retail price tags now start at 2,339,900 and 3,249,900 rubles, respectively.
