    Donald Trump accused of asking employee to remove footage from Mar-a-Lago documents case

    Former President Donald Trump is facing allegations that he and his aides asked a staff member to remove camera footage from his Florida estate in order to interfere with an investigation into classified documents.

    The allegations were made Thursday in an updated indictment the grand jury's opinion, which adds three new charges against Trump and adds one more defendant to the case.

    They include an additional count of knowingly holding national defense information and two additional counts of obstruction.

    A spokesman for Trump dismissed the new accusations as “nothing more than an ongoing desperate and unsuccessful attempt” by the Biden administration to “harass President Trump and his entourage” and influence the 2024 presidential race.

    Trump's 2020 Election Target Case

    This comes after Trump's lawyers met with federal prosecutors in Washington, D.C. on Thursday.
