Denis Manturov informed about the imminent revival of the Volga

According to data published by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, the Volga brand will be revived in Russia. Following this, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin announced that the production of the corresponding cars would begin in the country before the end of this year.

We note that the revival of the once premium Soviet brand is partly dictated by the desire of the state leadership to transfer officials to domestic cars . For these purposes, Lada Aura — an elongated version of the usual Lada Vesta.

Thus, Russian politicians are planned to be transferred to the use of cars of the Lada, Moskvich, Aurus and Volga brands. Note that there is no data yet on what the revived car will look like.
