It is expected that a refreshed version of the Japanese brand's crossover will be presented next year.
The production of the Nissan Qashqai crossover , whose main market is Europe, started in 2006. Since then, the model has managed to change generations several times: the current third-generation SUV was introduced in February 2021, and the version with the e-Power hybrid installation joined the line in March 2022. It is known that the model is already preparing for a planned restyling: according to the plan, the novelty should debut next year.

So far, there is no official information on how the exterior of the crossover will change during restyling. Previously, photo spies have already caught disguised prototypes of the future refreshed model during road tests. Now, the designer of the Spanish publication Motor.es shared his vision of the potential appearance of the updated Nissan Qashqai with us. >Judging by the render, during the restyling, the models as a whole will leave the same silhouette, the same black pillars and a roof with silver rails, which together create the effect of a “floating top”. It is likely that the Qashqai will retain the same stampings on the sidewalls, traditional exterior mirrors on separate legs, ordinary door handles painted in body color, as well as an unpainted plastic body kit around the perimeter of the body.

The differences are visible in the design of the front. So, the head optics, most likely, will partially change the shape: the lower part will become wider, the “stuffing” will be replaced with it, and the upper long LED “tail” will remain the same. Another model, judging by the render, received a large glossy black plug with the brand logo in the center, while its shape is noticeably different from the radiator grille of the current Nissan Qashqai.
Also, most likely, the lower part of the front bumper will look different: it is possible that the side air intakes will be designed in the form of large triangles, and the central one will receive a new pattern. The stern of the new Qashqai will probably receive a minimum of changes: the model has the same lights on the render, so the corrections will obviously be cosmetic, perhaps the lower part of the rear bumper will be corrected for the SUV.

It is expected that the updated version of the Qashqai will also have an all-electric version, it will appear in the family in 2026. However, before that, versions with internal combustion engines, including those with an e-Power hybrid installation, will enter the market. The current crossover with this “stuffing” for the European market is produced at the facilities of the British Nissan plant. generator of electricity, while the front wheels are rotated by an electric motor. The composition of this system includes a 156-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo engine with a variable compression ratio, as well as an electric motor with a capacity of 188 hp. The average fuel consumption of such an SUV is 5.3 liters per 100 km.
