ID. The Buzz is available in the US exclusively with a long wheelbase, while in Europe it also received a short wheelbase version. This is a larger model and is not wearing camo.
There are two GTXs in these photos. They have the same body, but the wheels are different. One of them has a five-spoke design with a black center and a metal rim. The other has five angled spokes.
Despite the abundance of shots, the photographs do not give a good overview of the interior. What is visible looks the same as the existing version of ID.Buzz. VW Commercial Vehicles head of research and development Kai Grünitz previously said the GTX is getting special body colors, unique interior touches and «some extra features».
The GTX uses an electric motor to power each axle. VW already confirms that their total output is 335 horsepower versus 282 hp. base model with rear wheel drive. Output torque and battery capacity are yet to be announced. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds.
VW is also developing an all-wheel drive ID. Buzz with a long wheelbase. Powertrain specs are not yet available, but power output will likely be less than the GTX.
