In essence, the new Mercedes-AMG GT coupe is a «closed» version of the current Mercedes-AMG SL convertible, which was introduced in the fall of 2021. Although these models still have differences, including in appearance (in addition to the obvious — a hard top instead of a folding fabric roof). Compared to its predecessor, all body parts have been redesigned, including the hood and front fenders.

Another model received a “slanted” head optics of a slightly different shape with an intermittent stripe of running lights in the upper part. The central and side air intakes at the bottom of the front bumper are decorated differently. The size of the rims is either 20 or 21 inches. The overall length of the Mercedes-AMG GT is 4728 mm (182 mm more than its predecessor), the width is 1984 mm (45 mm more) and the height is 1354 mm (66 mm more); the distance between the axles increased by 70 mm to 2700 mm. In the standard version of the model, the interior is designed for the driver and passenger, and as an option, a second row of seats is offered for two more passengers (no taller than 1.5 meters). The four-seat coupe has 321 liters of boot space (156 liters more than its predecessor) and 675 liters with the backrests folded down.
