The BMW 5-size electric car has an unusual exterior design: in particular, pixel information panels are provided for the novelty. At home, the model will have several versions, but the stuffing of our sedan has not yet been told.
In the spring of this year, the premium brand Exeed (owned by Chery) announced a new line created for electrified cars: in China it is Sterra, and for foreign markets they came up with the name Exlantix. The first-born of the new series will be a large electric sedan, in the homeland of the brand its full name sounds like Exeed Sterra ES, while the export version is still designated as Exlantix E03. The public premiere of the four-door was held in April at the Shanghai Motor Show, and at the same time the Russian office of Exeed announced that they plan to bring the model to our country. And now the company has decided on the timing: Exlantix E03 will appear in Russia in early 2024.

As noted in the latest release of the local Exeed division, the Italian Pier Luigi Ferrari, who heads the Exlantix/Sterra design team, was responsible for the look of the electric sedan. The exterior features of the E03 are a coupe-like silhouette, mirrors on separate legs, narrow headlights, rear lights made in the form of a single die, retractable door handles and a retractable spoiler on the trunk lid. The model also has pixel information boards: they are located under the head optics and can display, for example, the charge level or weather data.
In the cabin there is a two-spoke steering wheel, a two-story central tunnel and a narrow tidy screen, a giant touchscreen of the multimedia system flaunts in the center. Also in the arsenal of the Exlantix E03 are a glass roof, a head-up display, a dynamic lighting system, a projection module on the road and a variety of security systems.

The four-door is built on the new E0X platform with an 800-volt electrical system, air suspension and a fully controlled chassis. The length of the sedan destined for China is 4945 mm (in the Russian press release another indicator is 4935 mm), the width is 1978 mm, the height varies from 1467 to 1489 mm, the wheelbase is 3000 mm. Thus, in terms of its dimensions, the E03/ES is close to the global new BMW 5 Series sedan (and its i5 electric version). Exeed models are fitted with 19-, 20-, or 21-inch wheels.
Thanks to the recent « plum» of the Chinese certification body, we know that at home the model will have several versions: rear-wheel drive with a capacity of 252 or 313 hp. and all-wheel drive with a total output of 480 hp. According to preliminary data, the top-end version will pick up the first “hundred” in 3 seconds, the range of such a sedan will be 700 km. But we will find out the Exlantix E03 specifications for the Russian Federation closer to the start of sales.
The second model of the Exlantix/Sterra line should appear next year — it will be a crossover, and they also plan to bring it to Russia.< /p>
