So, as part of the presentation, along with the standard model for the local market, the brand also demonstrated a couple of “pumped” versions, distinguished by an even more impressive appearance, although the base SUV turned out to be brutal anyway. The hardcore versions are called the City Hunter Edition and the Secret Knight Edition (another version of the name is Realm Knight Edition), both have air vents on the hood (but it is not known whether this is a prop or not), an additional “chandelier” on the roof and new plastic lining on the wheel arches. The Explore 06 has only one engine so far — it is a 1.6 TGDI petrol turbo four, familiar from other models of the brand, it produces 197 hp. and 290 Nm, the motor is paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. Drive forward or full. A plug-in hybrid will appear later.

As usual in China, the actual prices were lower than those announced at the start of pre-orders. As a result, Chery Explore 06 is asking for 16,000 — 19,100 dollars.
